Role: Residential Real Estate Solicitor

Tenure: Full-Time | Hybrid

Proper Recruitment are thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity on behalf of a top high street law firm who are looking for a Residential Real Estate Solicitor to join their office in Islington, London.

Responsibilities:
Taking on matters within the property department, with cases and transactions including (but not limited to) freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-financing and transfers of equity.
Managing own case load and building your own work and contacts with potential referrers.
Obtaining regular positive feedback from clients, colleagues and referrers.
Taking on responsibility within a close-knit team and helping to teach trainees and paralegals.
Dealing directly with clients to take instructions and deliver on client expectations.
Working closely with partners and solicitors to develop client relationship skills.
Identifying and following relevant SRA principles and rules of professional conduct.

Requirements:
Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, organisational and administrative skills.
• Adept client care skills and ability to manage own caseload.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Must be experienced at multi-tasking, managing time sensitive matters and taking responsibility for delegated tasks.
• Must thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment.

Experience & Qualifications:
Must have obtained a 2:1 or 1st class undergraduate degree.
3+ Years PQE within residential property conveyancing.

Salary:
Competitive - £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
