About the Role
Role: Operations Assistant
Location: London
Tenure: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | Hybrid
Proper Recruitment are working with a well-regarded law firm who are looking for a highly organised Operations Assistant to support their Operations Manager across multiple office locations.
This is a varied and hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supporting internal processes and maintaining consistency across offices. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the day-to-day running of multiple office locations
- Acting as a key point of contact for reception and administrative teams
- Assisting in maintaining office standards, processes and procedures
- Coordinating office maintenance issues and liaising with service providers
- Supporting office resourcing, supplies and ordering processes
- Assisting with office refurbishments and improvement projects
Maintaining supplier records, contracts and renewal schedules
- Liaising with suppliers regarding orders, queries and service delivery
- Supporting procurement of office equipment and services
- Monitoring and reporting on office-related spend
- Assisting with onboarding/offboarding processes and IT setup
- Maintaining IT asset registers and supporting internal systems
- Supporting internal projects, events, conferences and team initiatives
Requirements:
- 1–3 years’ experience within an administrative, operations or office support role
- Minimum 2:1 or First Class Honours
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks across different locations
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Comfortable working with systems and data (Excel and internal platforms)
- Proactive with the ability to take ownership of tasks
Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous experience within a legal or professional services environment preferred
- Strong organisational and administrative background
- Experience supporting multi-site operations advantageous
