Role: CDM Principal Designer
Proper Recruitment have been appointed on behalf of a leading architectural practice in West London to source an experienced CDM Principal Designer to lead a team of Health & Safety consultants.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing multiple projects
Design risk management
Team lead
Site inspections
Preparation and production of Pre-Construction Information
Building/maintaining relationships with Clients/Project Managers and Principal Contractors
Principal Designer duties, as defined by the Construction (Design and Management) regulations 2015 (CDM).
Leading safety in design workshops for design and client teams
Requirements:
Competent technically
Leading a Team of H&S Professionals
Excellent communicator
Familiarity with the construction process and RIBA stages
Proficient with CDM 2015
4 years minimum experience within the Construction / H&S Industry
NEBOSH Construction Certificate or H&S Diploma Qualification
Chartered membership to a relevant body IOSH, APS (Certified or Incorporated member), CIOB
An excellent understanding of Construction
Driving Licence
Desirable
Design related degree, Safety diploma, FRA qualifications.

Salary:
£70,000 - £80,000 per annum
