Role: Quantity Surveyor

Proper Recruitment are recruiting for a private boutique property firm based in Mayfair who are looking for a quantity surveyor to join their team working on a wide variety of different schemes such as residential, retail, hospitality, offices etc.

Responsibilities:

• Quantity Surveyor for main contractor

• Overseeing multiple projects

• Pricing/estimating tenders

• Carrying out valuations for ongoing projects

• Negotiating variations

• Client facing role

• Building/maintaining relationships with clients

  Requirements:

• Competent technically

• 2-3 years minimum experience

• Excellent communicator

• Familiarity with the construction process and RIBA stages

• Proficient with costing and pricing software - Excel etc

• Management of cost against programme

• Professional membership such as RICS would be a bonus but not a requirement for this role

  Salary:

• £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
